Ellan Vannin Seafoods is created from one of the longest established shellfish processing families on the Isle of Man. This family have been processing queenies and scallops for over 35 years.
The Ellan Vannin Seafoods name has become synonymous throughout Europe with the highest quality queenies and scallops available.
Landings of queenies are collected from the Manx ports by Ellan Vannin Seafoods and brought back to their factory in Peel where the business has always been based.
The company employs in excess of 25 people and its main activity is the processing of Isle of Man King scallops, Queen scallops and Brown Crab. The factory satisfies all EU standards. There is a full induction and ongoing training programme for staff.
The company has an EU accreditation, which gives full traceability and guarantees the authenticity of the product through the production process. We export our quality products to a wide range of European countries.

Simon has been processing queenies for over 20 years and has the detailed knowledge of this business that can only come from this hands-on experience.
Prior to their father Barry’s retirement, Simon managed the factory for 15 years and he has unrivalled knowledge of producing the best possible queenies on the market.
